Our 20 Step Carpet Cleaning Process

Step 1: Pre - Arrival

The day before arrival, you will receive a call &/or text confirming your cleaning appointment. On the day of your appointment, you will receive a picture (by text) of your cleaning technician, along with his ETA (estimate arrival time).

Step 2: Pre -Walk-Thru Inspection

Our technician will walk through your home with you to visually inspect the carpet. He will identify potential permanent stains and give you an evaluation of expected results, as well as listen to any concerns you may have.

Step 3: Pre -Vacuum (Dry Soil Removal)

80% of all soils that get into your carpet are dry soils. These soils are thoroughly removed using our power vacuuming system. Removing dry soil is one of the most vitally crucial steps in the cleaning process. We do this in three stages: 1)We start by using a dual counter rotating brush vacuum system. This combs & lifts the carpet fibers, removing loose partials and dry soils 2) Followed by a single stage beater bar vacuum system that gently beats the carpet fibers thoroughly lifting dry soils to the carpet surface. 3) Last but not least, using a crevice tool we remove that hard to reach (dark line) soil that builds up around baseboards giving you that clean and finished appearance.

Step 4: Safety Precautions

Walking from hard surface to carpeted areas may be slippery until the carpet is completely dry, for your safety, we use all precautions through-out the cleaning process, we put out wet-floor signs (preventing accidental slips) & wall-guards to ensure no damage occur to your walls and baseboards during cleaning.

Step 5: Furniture Moving

Our regular pricing includes moving chairs, tables and other smaller items. Beds, dressers, and heavier pieces may add substantially more time to the cleaning. One of our consultants can quote the exact cost to move any heavier pieces.

Step 6: Pre-Spray

A preconditioning agent is used to emulsify and break down high traffic dirt/oil areas. Our pre-enzyme pre-spray is designed to loosen & lift the soil for easy extraction. We use non-toxic, biodegradable cleaning agents, that’s pet friendly & mother approved.

Step 7: Pre - Agitation

A professional brush is used to assist in opening the carpet fibers and loosen stuck on soil. Using a rotary device we agitate your carpets. Few cleaners even carry an agitation machine on their truck.

Step 8: Spotting (Spot Removal)

Difficult spots are treated using a professional spot cleaning solution, these products increase the chances of removing those tough to remove spots or stains.

Step 9: Deep Soil Extraction and Rinse

The carpet is then thoroughly rinsed using a powerful deep extraction cleaning system, without over wetting the carpet.

Step 10: Neutralizer

Has your carpet every been left with a sticky or stiff feeling after a professional cleaning?  That feeling is due to residue being left behind. Residue attracts dirt and shortens your carpet’s life by altering its chemical state over time. We pH balance every carpet we clean, therefore preventing sticky residue from being left behind.

Step 11: Dry Soil Repellent

Have you ever noticed after cleaning your carpet, it looked dried out and had a crunchy feeling? Squeaky clean is not the goal when we are dealing with textiles. We apply a conditioning agent that helps in repelling those dry soils after cleaning, leaving your carpet looking and feeling soft and clean to the touch.

Step 12: Returning Spot Prevention (Wicking)

Anti-wicking agent is applied to your carpet which prevents returning spots from re-appearing after cleaning has been performed. This results in expanding the life of your fabrics and keeping them cleaner longer.

Step 13: Odor Eliminator (Deodorizing)

We then deodorize your rug, removing any of those deep-down odors.  Most deodorizers cover up odor, our specially designed enzyme-based deodorizer eliminates those air born odors.

Step 14: Dry Bonnet Cleaning

Dry cleaning your furniture does 3 things: 1) Removes residual moisture left behind from cleaning, 2) Helps speed dry fabrics, 3) Finally, aides in preventing spots from re-appearing after cleaning has been performed.

Step 15: Fiber Protectant

We then apply fiber protectant to your carpet. Keep in mind, your carpet was originally made with carpet protector. After heavy traffic the protector is removed by regular foot traffic, leaving your carpet open to permanent staining. Carpet protector will help avoid future permanent staining and costly service calls.

Step 16: Post Grooming

Your carpet is groomed with a professional groomer so that the pile of your carpet is standing up-right when we leave. Post grooming helps the carpet pile dry faster and in the right position. We leave your carpets 80% to 90% dryer then the other cleaners out there.

Step 17: Speed Drying

We use high velocity air movers speed drying your carpet after each area is cleaned. The longer your carpet stay wet the faster it can get dirty again.

Step 18: Furniture Mark Prevention

Most furniture legs are made of wood, our technicians put all moved furniture on foam blocks or tab to prevent possible wood dye from transferring onto your carpeting after cleaning.

Step 19: Over Spray Removal

After your cleaning has been performed our technicians will wipe your baseboards and any other areas that may have come in contact with our cleaning agents during service.

Step 20: Post Walk-Thru (Cleaning Inspection)

Our technician will now review the post job report while walking you through your home to point out cleaning results and ensure your completely thrilled with your experience. After walk-thru has been performed our office will call YOU to ensure our technician has met all your expectations. If they have not met your expectations, this will be the time to speak-up, and he will then re-clean any concerned area or answer any further questions you may have.
